Po

Description of Character

Legend tells of a legendary warrior named Po. He starts out as a good-natured, bumbling panda that spends his days working in his father’s noodle shop and his nights dreaming up a life of kung fu awesomeness that involves fighting alongside the Furious Five.

Po knows all there is to know about the Furious Five. But his noodle cart slows him down as he races to see which one of them will be declared the Dragon Warrior. So he makes creative use of some fireworks to get over the wall to the stadium, only to stumble upon his destiny when Master Oogway declares him the Dragon Warrior.

Po then spends time training with the Furious Five under the guidance of Master Shifu. At first the kung fu masters are frustrated with the clumsy panda. But they grow to respect him as he proves his dedication and finds his own unique kung fu abilities. In fact, the humble Po goes on to defeat the evil Tai Lung by simply believing in himself and discovering his strengths as he goes along.
